Kuma: 350 million views and 60 million hours watched

A Turkish drama, published on YouTube as a viewing destination rather than a promotional feed. People did not sample Kuma. They watched it.

Main channel, as of October 2026

We took Kuma to YouTube in April 2025 as a YouTube-first original, with Hindi and Arabic channels alongside the main one. The Arabic channel alone has passed 173 million views.

Two of those deserve a second look.

Episode 1 was clicked by 30.4% of the people who saw its thumbnail. That is not what a trailer cut gets. It is what happens when the first episode is packaged for the viewer who is deciding whether to commit, and the series is laid out so that committing is easy.

And 60 million hours across 350 million views works out to roughly ten minutes per view, on a platform where drama is usually measured in seconds. That is what a catalogue looks like when it is published as a destination. Episodes in sequence. Every language on its own channel. Metadata written for the viewer searching for episode 14, not for the one who has never heard of the show.

It is also why the rate is where it is. Advertisers pay for attention that lasts, and 60 million hours is more than 6,800 years of it. We don't publish the RPM. We'll show it to you on a call, against your own category's benchmark.
